The fish that turned up on the videos were quite different between summer and fall/winter. In the summer, panfish and bass predominated on the videos, whereas in the fall more muskies and lake trout were seen. Lake trout are interesting – whereas in the summer they hang out much too deep to be seen by the trolling cameras, in the fall they come into the shallows to spawn.

Hence, the fish seen in the Fall Fish video were generally a selection of muskies and lake trout, with some pike and the occasional walleye showing up.
